Description:

Communication should be the No. 1 focus for leaders because it solves a lot of other problems, creates buy-in and helps develop a culture employees want to be a part of. But here’s the current challenge - what worked before the pandemic isn’t enough and the skills you developed during a fully remote situation last year need to be tweaked. Veteran sports broadcaster Jen Mueller will help you bring a more strategic and intentional approach to your conversations by revealing how she builds relationships with professional athletes 15 seconds at a time and maximizes every second of a conversation. It’s a required skill set on TV, but it’s also an important one for founders and business owners. More doesn’t equal better in a conversation unless you’re more intentional and strategic about the message you’re communicating.

Discover three conversation strategies that allow you to connect with greater ease and communicate with more effectiveness. You’ll discover the missed opportunity in every conversation, a counter-intuitive approach for staying in the loop, the reason to ask more focused questions and ways to increase productivity with your team in just 15 seconds.

Jen Mueller's Bio:

A 20-year sports broadcasting veteran, Jen currently serves as the Seattle Seahawks sideline radio reporter. She is also an Emmy-award winning producer and part of the Seattle Mariners television broadcast team on ROOT Sports

In addition to her work on the sidelines, Jen launched Talk Sporty to Me in 2009. She provides a unique twist on business communication based on her time in locker rooms and expertise in 1-on-1 conversations. Jen is the author of three books and earlier this year launched an on-demand video series Asking Better Questions.
